Along the way, TRESE has been released in hardcover omnibus form, colored Filipino individual issues and spinoff anthology, while also selling merchandise like plushies, T-shirts, keychains and magnets. It won several awards including the National Book Award. Then, the books stopped coming.

The first three graphic novels were compiled into a hardcover edition named " Trese: Book of Murders " which contained journal entries from the protagonist's grandfather, Alexander Trese, that added more history and background regarding each case.
